Overview

Weblilo is the business I founded to do the kind of work I believe in: websites and software that are understood first, built cleanly and aligned with the business behind them

The studio covers four disciplines that usually live with different vendors. Custom web design, digital marketing, business automation and individual software. Clients work with a founder who can talk about their customers, design the interface and write the code

The problem

Small businesses get fragments

A local company that needs a new website usually ends up with a template, a separate person for photos and ads, and nobody who connects the enquiry form to the way the business actually works

The result looks finished but does very little. Enquiries land in an inbox, appointments are confirmed by hand and data is typed twice

The approach

One studio from idea to product

Weblilo starts every project with questions about the business, its customers and its processes. Design and development run as one process, so the layout and the data behind it are decided together

Packages are fixed price and include everything around the website, from hosting and deployment to forms, booking and basic maintenance. Revisions are not counted. A project is delivered when the client is satisfied

Four disciplines, one studio

  • Custom web design

Analysis, information architecture, responsive development, multilingual sites in German, French, Italian and English, forms and booking, SEO basics, performance, hosting and deployment

  • Business automation

Lead capture, notifications, booking, email automation, CRM workflows, document generation, data sync and API integrations

  • Individual software

Web applications, internal tools, dashboards, CRM and ERP integrations, API development and software consulting

  • Digital marketing

Content for ads, social media, print, photo and video. Platform setup and local visibility through Google Business Profile, directory listings and review tools

Engineering considerations

A website is the visible end of a system. Forms, email, bookings and records connect behind it
  • Built to be extended

Fast loading, readability, accessibility and a structure that can grow later are treated as requirements, not extras. A site is a system the client will keep using

  • Integrations over copy and paste

Forms, bookings and enquiries are connected to the tools a business already runs, through APIs and automation instead of manual re-entry

  • Modern web stack

weblilo.com itself is a Next.js site with optimised images, a blog with an RSS feed and Swiss data protection pages

Design decisions

  • Clarity before decoration

Typography, layout, imagery and interactions are chosen to make an offer easy to understand. Pricing is public and written in plain language

  • Honest references

The reference page only shows work that was actually delivered, with full-page screenshots instead of polished mockups

Responsive by default

Responsive development is part of every Weblilo website. On a phone the same services, packages and contact paths are reorganised into a single column rather than shrunk

Current status

Weblilo is active and taking on projects. The site is in German for Swiss clients and lists fixed-price packages, a blog and a contact form
